Many of you might know me as that “PopSci Builder” guy. Specifically, since 2005, my projects, creations, and inventions have appeared on the pages, both real and virtual, of Popular Science magazine and Bonnier Corporation digital media. Between projects I even found enough time to write 38 nonfiction books plus countless magazine and journal articles. With topics ranging from Apple to Zoology, I’ve, hopefully, entertained a few of you. Along the way, I even nabbed an award or two (e.g., 2001 Maggie Award for “Best How To Article in a Consumer Magazine.” This winning effort was based on adapting the film-based Ansel Adams Zone System to digital cameras for digitalFOTO magazine).
